Out of an abundance of concern and caution we will postpone Festa Primavera until the fall. We are sad that this is necessary, but the health and safety of our families is first and foremost and we now feel, given all available information, that it is the responsible and reasonable course of action.
I want to extend my deep gratitude to all the volunteers, listed below, who have worked tirelessly to make this event already so successful. Their work will not be in vain as we have scheduled a new date for this coming fall - please put Saturday, October 24th on your calendar! Should that date be an issue for any attendee, please contact me or the Festa team (festa@sthms.org) to discuss further. We will also continue to sell Buy-A-Spots and other select catalog items as available through different channels, so please continue your support by signing up, purchasing raffle tickets, and bidding on available items as they are released!
We are also very grateful that our vendor partners, Elaine Bell Caterers, The Lux Productions and others have agreed to work with us to change the date and honor our agreements.
This is a big decision for the school and our community and represents a shift in the way that our community has supported the hard work of our children's teachers and staff. Now, as ever, the school will need our support. Please join me in fulfilling our mission as parents to support our community. More information will continue to be relayed about the new date and opportunities to support the school.
